General information and contact numbers:

All trips leave the Washington Galleries bus station at 9:00 a.m. ( see programme for dates ) There is ample free parking next to where the bus picks up.

The club offers three walks on each trip, all walks start and finish at the same location
( the finishing point is a pub where thirsts can be quenched.)
 We try to cater for all age groups and levels of fitness.

• The short walk is usually between 4 – 7 miles and can be taken at a gentle pace.
• The middle walk is usually between 9 – 12 miles and would suit anyone who is reasonably fit. ( there are plenty of coffee stops along the way to recuperate )
• The long walk is usually between 12 – 15 miles and depending on terrain, can be quite strenuous.

The bus returns to Washington Galleries between 5:00 – 6:30 pm ( winter months )
6:00 – 7:30 pm ( summer months )
